The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is pleased to offer our residents and visitors a variety of unique services and amenities.

CMPL's three locations offer free wireless internet access to all card-holders.  You must provide your own computer with a wireless card.

Wireless printing is also available at all three locations, but does require that you have a library card to log on and release your print jobs.

Persons not eligible to receive a free library card can purchase a daily-internet card at the circulation desk (which requires a fee of $1.95/day or $50 a year).
The Macomb Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped at the Main Library boasts an assistive technology workstation where patrons can scan letters and have the computer read them aloud, go online and have the computer read the screen or just enjoy the screen magnification software that will make the screen easier to read. You can use our closed-circuit television to magnify personal items such as bills, recipes or books.  You can check out various magnifiers (over 50) to see which ones work best for you.  A variety of magnifiers are also available for check out at the North and South Branches.
CMPL's three locations offer black & white coipes for 10¢ per page and color copies for 50¢ per page.

Sel-service faxing (out-going only) is available at all locations. The cost of the fax is $1.75 the first page and $1 for each additional page. Files can be sent to any fax machine in the United States and Canada, and a confirmation receipt is provided.
Give your scratched, skipping, won’t play DVDs, CDs and videogames a second chance by taking them to the Circulation Desk at the Main Library for evaluation. Using a commercial-grade repair unit, we may be able to buff your discs.  Repair cost is $3 per DVD or CD and $5 per videogame. Drop off your discs and have them repaired within a week!
The Clinton-Macomb Public Library welcomes customers and lovers of local history to enjoy our growing local history collection at the Main Library. Librarians are interested in archiving physical objects such as maps, yearbooks, and out-of-print books as well as developing an online archive of historical images and documents.
Literacy Materials are shelved within the Outreach area of Popular Materials at the Main Library.  This collection will focus on non-instructional materials such as kits of a fiction novel in book format and on audiocassettes read that are read at 85% slower than normal. Listen, read along, and become more comfortable at the same time!
Clinton-Macomb Public Library is proud to offer a wide selection of :

The Main Library's computer lab has flatbed scanners at each computer station. Patrons can scan images, book pages, files, and more and create a digital copy for archiving or emailing as an attachment.
Within the Donald W. Green Local History room at the Main Library, CMPL offers a high-volume scanner and a VHS to DVD converter to residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships. The high volume scanner can be used to quickly digitize a stack of old photos. The VHS to DVD converter allows you to play back home-made VHS tapes (in real time) and save a copy onto a DVD (you must supply) for archiving purposes. There is also a 35mm slide digitizer that will convert old 35mm slides to digital pictures. These are self-serve stations and we provide step-by-step manuals to assist you through the process.
