Macomb Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped serves all residents of Macomb County, who qualify, by providing audio books and players, large print books, equipment that enlarges text, equipment for printing Braille materials, and more.

Programs
  • Book Discussions.We now offer a monthly book discussion that you can participate in by phone. This is a great way to get involved in a lively book discussion with other LBPH patrons without even leaving your home! It is easy to join. Just call us at the library, 586-286-1580 or toll free 1-855-203-5274, and we will give you the details.

  • Assistive Technology Demo. If you experience vision issues and were wondering what products might be available to assist you, please call our library to set up an appointment with Sharon. She will be able to demonstrate and enable you to try different devices such as magnifiers, lamps, reading and writing tools and more!
